THE BORINQUENEERS has been selected to participate at the Puerto Rican Festival of Rochester’s Latino Film Festival. The film festival which will spotlight four powerful and inspiring Latino films will take place on September 15, 2012 at St. John Fisher College, 3690 East Avenue Rochester, NY from 1pm – 11pm. The friendship between two children is threatened by their parents’ differences.
* Santo Domingo Blues – 3:00pm
A feature-length documentary that tells the story of the guitar-playing, singer-songwriter Luis Vargas and Bachata, the guitar blues of Santo Domingo.
* The Borinqueneers – 5:00pm

* Un Cuento Chino – 7:30pm
In Buenos Aires, the bitter and methodic Roberto is a lonely man and the owner of a hardware store.
