THE BORINQUENEERS has been selected to participate in the Georgia Latino Film Festival taking place from October 11-13, 2013 in Atlanta, Georgia. The film will part of an educational forum on Friday, October 11th at Clark University, 223 James P. Brawley Dr. SW Atlanta, GA 30314. The general public can attend the screening of THE BORINQUENEERS on Saturday, October 12th at 1:00pm the Georgia-Pacific Auditorium, 133 Peachtree St NE, Atlanta, GA. There will be a Q&A session after the screening with filmmaker Noemi Figueroa Soulet and military advisor/researcher LTC Bart Soto (USA, Ret.). The Georgia Latino Film Festival (GALFF) mission is to educate, develop and exhibit the richness of Latino filmmakers and to promote and create awareness of the Latin cultures, artistry and countries through film. GALFF also offers industry workshops, panels, networking receptions and educational programs. The non-competitive festival awards Best Movie Long/Short and Best Documentary Long/Short, chosen by the audience. GALFF serves as a place where Latino filmmakers can come together and build their network with industry buyers and distributors.
