The Conference begins on Friday, November 7th with a line-up of heroes you won’t want to miss, featuring:
- The Tuskegee Airmen, veterans of the first African-American aviation unit
- Lt. Col. Richard E. Cole, Co-pilot of Jimmy Doolittle in Plane #1
- Lt. Col. James Megellas, the most decorated officer in the history of the 82nd Airborne Div.
- Lt. Col. Edward Saylor, Engineer of Plan #15 in the Doolittle Raid
- Col. Harvey C. Barnum & SFC Melvin Morris, Medal of Honor Recipients for valor in Vietnam
The Conference continues on Saturday, November 8th featuring the following heroes:
- Harry Ettlinger, one of the few remaining “Monuments Men”
- George Klein, a veteran of the 2nd Ranger Battalion on D-Day, the “Boys of Pointe Du Hoc”
- Elinor Otto, still working as a “Rosie the Riveter” in Boeing C-17 plant
- The Borinqueneers, Korean War veterans of the 65th Infantry from Puerto Rico
- Brig. General R. Steve Ritchie, the only Air Force “Ace” pilot from the Vietnam War
