The first annual Lancaster Latino Film Festival will take place from Friday, March 9 to Monday, March 12, 2012 at the Ware Center, 42 North Prince Street, Lancaster, PA 17603 sponsored by Millersville University. The film festival will begin with a special presentation of THE BORINQUENEERS on Friday night with the attendance of filmmaker Noemi Figueroa Soulet and 65th veteran, Eugenio Quevedo, along with a 65th photo exhibit. At 6:30pm, there will be a wine and cheese reception, followed by the presentation at 7:00pm. The movie and the Q&A are presented FREE OF CHARGE, courtesy of a grant from the Lancaster County Community Foundation. The film will be followed by an Opening Night Reception.
Other films being presented are: Saturday, March 10: NORA’S WILL; SEEDS Sunday, March 11: THE MAID; THE SECRET IN THEIR EYES Monday, March 12: ALMOST A WOMAN (with the attendance of writer Esmeralda Santiago).
