This year the 31st annual 116th Street Festival in East Harlem, New York will honor the Borinqueneers. Taking place on Saturday, June 11th from 10am-5:00pm, the largest Latin festival in the northeast will span nearly 20 blocks around Third Avenue and East 116th Street. There will be live musical performances, delicious traditional food like pulled pork and rice and beans, and a variety of Puerto Rico-themed merchandise on sale.
At 116th Street between Lexington and Third Avenues, there will be a section of tables reserved for the East Harlem Borinqueneers Honoring Committee and the Borinqueneers Congressional Gold Medal Alliance.
