I’m sure that all the people you mentioned as stamp honorees are very deserving, but we have forgotten the most important person in the history of Puerto Rico. Our first Puerto Rican Governor, Luis Muñoz Marin, the only Puerto Rican politician that didn’t fleece the people to make himself rich!! The man that made us the Estado Libre Asociado that we are today.
Response: Luis Muñoz Marin was honored with a U.S. commemorative 5-cent stamp in 1990 as the subject of the first stamp in the Great Americans Series.
