Article:

Staff Sgt. Wenceslao Kuilán of Bayamón, PR, was with Company E in 1951 in Korea. He served in Company A, 7th Cavalry, 1st Cavalry Div. during the Vietnam War. On January 25, 1966, elements of his unit were being redeployed on a Fairchild C-123K aircraft which slammed into a mountainside near An Khe, killing all 46 men aboard, including Sgt. Kuilan. It would be the worst air crash in Vietnam to date involving US troops. He was 36 years old and had served for 14 years.
