SFC Restituto “Tuto” Oyola-Alvarez (Ret.), 101, of South Windsor, Connecticut, died peacefully on July 22, 2018. He was born in Arecibo, P.R. on May 17, 1917. Tuto enlisted in the Army in 1941 and served in the 65th during World War II and in Co. “E” during the Korea War retiring after 20 years of service in 1961. During his long life he helped others, was an avid reader, excellent writer, and loved to beat everyone at the game of dominoes. He was a devoted Catholic with a great sense of humor, loved music and was an excellent dancer. Published in the Hartford Courant.
