Sgt. 1st Class Alejandro de Jesús-Muñoz of Ponce, PR, served in the Service Co. in 1953 in the Korean War. In Vietnam, he served in Co. A, 2nd Infantry Regt., 1st Infantry Div. Alejandro received a Bronze Star for exceptionally meritorious service in military operations against a hostile force. On April 1, 1968, he was killed in action in the Binh Duong province of South Vietnam. He was 36 years old and had served for 16 years participating in 8 Campaigns, including 3 tours in Korea.
