Background: EMMANUELLI, Felix was born on August 2, 1883 in Ponce, Porto Rico. Son of Michel and Teotista (Tristani) Emmanuelli.  His brother, Major Louis S. Emmanuelli also served with the 65th Inf. Regt. from 1905-1920.
Education: Primary Schools, Porto Rico and New York; Preparatory Schools, Conn, and New York; Peekskill Military Academy., New York 1897-1898; Hamilton Institute., New York 1898-1899; Columbia University and New York Law School 1899-1902
Career: Y.C. Admitted to the Bar, Porto Rico and United States Courts. 1905. Appointed Second Lieutenant, Porto Rico Regiment Infantry, United States Army, 1906. First Lieutenant, 1908.
Captain, 1916; Major, National. Army, 1918, Regular Army 1920. Lieutenant Colonel, Infantry 1929.
Graduate. Army Signal School, 1914. Infantry School, 1924. Command and General Staff School 1925.
Served in the United States, Porto Rico and Panama Canal Zone. During World War, served in Canal Zone, and in Porto Rico, commanding a battalion of 574 Infantry Served with 30 and 23 Regts. Of Infantry, 1921-1927. With General Staff, Eighth Corps Area, 1927-1930.
Accompanied General Frank R. McCoy on Electoral Mission to Nicaragua in 1928, as Assistant Executive of that body.
