June 26, 2014 - Taping at the Puerto Rico PBS station TU-TV for July 4th broadcast of film with 65th veterans and their families.

A special half-hour program was taped, “Borinqueneers – Honor a Los Nuestros”, moderated by David Reyes with interviews of filmmaker Noemí Figueroa Soulet and four Borinqueneer veterans. Pictured here are Pedro Santana (center) and SFC Germán Bravo (Ret.).

June 25, 2014 - Visit to the Veteran’s Museum in San Lorenzo, PR.
In front of the Museum was a statue dedicated to the soldier.
Display inside the museum.
A section dedicated to the 65th Infantry Regiment.
The museum profiles two sons of San Lorenzo: deceased Borinqueneers LTC Angel Escribano (Ret.) and MSG Ramon Figueroa (Ret.). (both appeared in our documentary).
A mural in honor of the San Lorenzo veterans.
June 27, 2014 - A visit to see Borinqueneer Nicolás Cancel Figueroa (center in t-shirt) in Lajas, PR.
The Lajas Agricultural Airport owned by 65th vet Capt. Segundo “Kun” Garcia (left). Also in photo is 65th vet Nicolás Cancel Figueroa (right). Behind them is a Korean War-era jeep.
This is Capt. Segundo “Kun” Garcia's plane.
The 86-year old "Kun" was a pilot with the 312th Fighter Squadron before he was transferred to the 65th's Co. F in Korea.
Here is another artifact at the airport: a 40 mm Anti-Air Battery Gun.
July 7, 2014 - The funeral of Borinqueneer SFC Carlos Ruiz (Ret.) who served as the Official Photographer of the 65th in Korea.
2014 events and screenings of THE BORINQUENEERS in Peekskill, NY, the National Puerto Rican Day Parade and the Borinqueneers CGM Signing Ceremony.
