April 22, 2021 - At the 11th Annual Latino & Native American Film Festival (LANAFF), THE BORINQUENEERS film was awarded to be “Among the Best: 1st 10 Years” during a retrospective profiling its best films of the past 10 years.
LANFF originally screened the film in 2016.
