March 6, 2003 - Hon. Anibal Acevedo Vila, Resident Commission of Puerto Rico and Mari Carmen Aponte, Dir. of PRFAA, honor Noemi for her work with Puerto Rican veterans. A short screening of the film took place. In attendance were Borinqueneers Raymond Muñoz and SGT Luis Laboy (Ret.).
June 7, 2003 - The pouring rain did not keep away the standing-room-only crowd for the latest work-in-progress screening at the Newark Public Library in Newark, NJ.
The fundraising benefit was sponsored by the New Jersey Hispanic Research & Information Center.
