May 10, 2002 - A benefit screening of the work-in-progress at the Puerto Rican Professional Assoc. of South Florida (PROFESA) attended by 200 people in Miami, FL.

Aug. 3, 2002 - The Borinqueneers-American Legion Post 872 of Reading, Pennsylvania invited us to speak at their street fair with veterans (left to right) Israel Montalvo, Eugenio Quevedo, Wendell Vega, Jaime Lopez, Raymond Muñoz and Tony de la Rosa.
Sept. 14, 2002 - The Hispanic Professional Network (HPN) had a screening of our work-in-progress in Hartford, CT. Pictured is SGT Juan Cruz and Borinqueneer Nicolas Jimenez (Co. B) who was honored.

Dec. 6, 2002 - Gen. Larry Ellis, Commanding Gen. of Forces Command (FORSCOM) pins the Silver Star medal on LTC George Jackson, Co. G Commander, for his heroic actions during the Jackson Height battle.

March 6, 2003 - Hon. Anibal Acevedo Vila, Resident Commission of Puerto Rico and Mari Carmen Aponte, Dir. of PRFAA, honor Noemi for her work with Puerto Rican veterans. A short screening of the film took place. In attendance were Borinqueneers Raymond Muñoz and SGT Luis Laboy (Ret.).
June 7, 2003 - The pouring rain did not keep away the standing-room-only crowd for the latest work-in-progress screening at the Newark Public Library in Newark, NJ.
The fundraising benefit was sponsored by the New Jersey Hispanic Research & Information Center.
Maj. Sam Delgado (Ret., USMC) of the Verizon Mid-Atlantic Hispanic Support Group and member of the Fundraising Committee greets the audience.
