Yo soy hija de un Veterano disable retirado, Sfc Francisco Riestra-Lopez de la 65 Infantry. Mi padre fallecio en Diciembre 17, 2015. El estuvo en el ARMY por 20 a~os. Su retrato esta en la galleria.

MAJ Ceferino Declet, Sr. was my grandfather. He passed away last week and will be laid to rest, this Friday. He was assigned to Echo Company and served in Korea in 1951; received Bronze Star with Valor. I couldn’t imagine a better honor then if fellow BORINQUENEERS could attend his services.

I am the son of SGT. Rafael Rivera Garcia I will be accompanying him to DC for the Gold Medal I am extremely proud and its an honor that my father and many other Borinqueneers fought for this country may GOD bless them all and their families who have lost such brve men that gave it all .YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN.

I submited the info and photos of my late father SFC RAFAEL GONZALEZ RULLAN aproximately in october/november 2015 and that info haven’t been added to this site.I’m also interested in acquire the replica of the Congressional Medal that will be issued to our veterans.

Today my great-uncle, Avelino Torres Gonalez from Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico, now residing at North Carolina, and veteran of the Korean War and 65th Infrantry, learned for the first time about your film and I was able to show him the photos at your gallery.  He showed me a photo album full of original pictures he took on the Korean War and places he stayed including the snow storm. I will help him to send them to you and his photo to be included.  Thank you very much for providing a network for families and future generations to honor their brave family members. I will order several DVDs to share with my great-uncle and my dad.
