SFC Jaime Henriquez Pabón (Ret.), 83, died on June 6, 2011 in Salinas,California. He was born on April 22, 1928 in Lajas, PR. During the Korean War, Jaime served in Heavy Mortars Company of the 65th from 1951-1952 participating in “Operation Killer”. He was also the barber of the company cutting the men’s hair. Sgt. Henriquez Pabón served for 25 years in the Army from 1950-75 retiring with the rank of Sergeant First Class. After his retirement, he worked for many years for the U.S. Post Office and for the County of Monterey. Adapted from Legacy.com.
