SFC Alberto Lugo (Ret.), 91, passed away on December 4, 2013 in Westampton, NJ. He was born on February 10, 1922 in Yauco, PR. Sgt. Lugo proudly served in three wars: World War II, the Korean War and three tours during the Vietnam War. In Korea, he served in Company “A” of the 65th Inf. Regt. participating in the Kelly Hill battle in 1952. Lugo served in the Army for 31 years from 1943-1974 retiring with the rank of Sergeant First Class. In 2013, he attended the Perth Amboy, NJ screening where he was profiled in an interview. Submitted by his daughter, Olga Walker.
