My father Victor Manuel Santiago served proudly with the 65th Borinqueneers in Korea. Because we live in Colorado we are not in touch with any members. I would love to find out about any upcoming gatherings so that my dad can be with the men he loved and celebrate the pride he still feels in being part of the courageous group. He is 87 and I know how much it would mean to him to be among you one last time. He has lived and served honorably, humbly worked and raised a family, stands by his wife of 63 yrs, who has alzheimers, holding her hand every night, “she was always there for me, I will never leave her behind”. He hikes the mountains of Colorado and speaks with great emotion about his comrades in arms and what he saw in Korea. Help me celebrate my father by helping him be a part of the great 65th once more.
